EMBA Program

The Executive MBA (EMBA) is the Center's flagship program, designed with middle-and-senior level executives in mind. This program (cohort, 5 sessions over 19 months) allows participants to continue their full-time careers while earning an AACSB-accredited MBA degree that incorporates the interactions and backgrounds of the participants as an integral part of the learning experience. Applying for the EMBA program...

The UCF Executive Development Center welcomes applications from well-rounded individuals with a minimum of five years work experience who bring unique insight to the classroom learning environment and team experience.

To apply:

  1. Request official transcripts: If you are not a UCF graduate, official transcripts from each college or university attended must be sent directly to UCF.
     
  2. Application form and fee: Complete the online application at www.graduate.ucf.edu, and remit the $30 application fee.
    • Current resume - Upload your current resume into your application before submitting.
    • Goal statement - Write a goal statement of no more than 1,000 words addressing your short and long term career objectives and how the EMBA will assist you in obtaining these goals.
    • Recommendations - Provide three email addresses of recommenders in your application from professional sources.
       
  3. Interview: As soon as your application is complete, you will be contacted by the Executive Development Center to arrange an interview.

Admissions Criteria

Specific admission criteria include:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent from an accredited university or institution with a 3.0 GPA
  • Minimum of five years of full-time, progressive, work experience
  • Three letters of recommendation, essay, and resume
  • Admissions Interview

After you have applied online, you must submit the following materials:

  1. Goal Statement
  2. Current Resume
  3. Official academic transcripts from the institution(s) granting your undergraduate and any other degree(s).
  4. Recommendations- Three professional references should be asked to provide letters of recommendation. One reference should be your current supervisor. These recommendations should include an assessment of your business experience, potential for leadership, strengths, weaknesses, and capacity to learn and act as a team member in the Executive MBA.
  5. Student Health Services Immunization Form

Personal interview with EMBA Admissions Committee

Once the materials above have been reviewed, the final step in the application process is a personal interview with the EMBA Admissions Committee. PMBA Program

The Professional MBA (PMBA) is the ideal solution for successful working professionals who wish to earn an MBA degree accredited by AASCB International without interrupting their full-time career. The Professional Master of Science in Real Estate (PMRE) is a 20month cohort program that meets two evenings a week, allowing the busy professional to continue their full-time careers while earning this fully-accredited master’s degree. It was designed by the Dr. P. Phillips School of Real Estate as a flagship graduate program that prepares students for senior positions in residential and commercial real estate brokerage and appraisal, development and mortgage brokerage.

The Professional Master of Science in Management (PMSM) is a 16-month cohort program that meets two evenings a week, allowing the busy professional to work full-time while earning this degree. The PMSM provides an alternative to the MBA degree for students who desire specialized study and a high level of professional proficiency in management/human resources.
